Advice from our Campers

Campervan Trip in Europe – Advice from your Country

Our clients come from all over the world and the one thing they all have in common is that they speak English.  You’d think that would mean that any advice we publish on our website would therefore apply to any English speaker planning to hire a motorhome for a trip in France or Europe but we have found that advice is not a “one size fits all” issue!   Each nationality has surprises both good and bad when they travel here and it depends on what the norm is in their country of residence.  If you are not from a country where you pay tolls for using the motorways, they may come as a surprise to you.  If you live in a country where campsites and places to stay overnight or for a few days in your campervan are few and far between you will be amazed at the choice here in France.

On returning from their motorhome trips, many clients say “you should tell new clients from our country about that as they won’t be expecting it” so we thought it might be a good idea to ask our clients if they had any specific advice and tips for their fellow countrymen

Advice ranges from things to do and sites to see and visit,  and see to things you should bring with you, things that are surprisingly good value and should be bought there, and things that are surprisingly expensive which you will be better off bringing with you.

To read existing clients’ advice, simply so click on the page of your nationality for some tips that are tailored to help you.

Equally, if you have some pearls of wisdom to share following your campervan trip in France and across Europe, just send us an email detailing your top tips so we can add them to the relevant page (don’t forget to tell us where you are from).
