Children under five? Take a motorhome trip before school is out for summer!

France + family + motorhome holiday has been an enduringly popular combination for many years but if your children are of school age, you are obliged to take your holiday at the busiest possible time. However, if your children are not yet at school, a campervan trip in France provides a magical, peaceful and relaxing break for every member of the family. Here are our top ten reasons why:

1) You can come in May, June, late August or September, the weather is glorious with wonderful long evenings but the majority of kids are still at school so prices are lower and campsites are peaceful.

2) There are no dress codes on a campervan you can wear exactly what you please and truly relax. Shorts, a tee shirt and splattered yoghurt or pureed apple is completely normal campervan wear and you won’t have to change before dinner.

3) You can enjoy every part of your holiday, even the journey, with all the space and facilities around you that small children need. Rather than trying to travel in the cramped conditions of a car, you will have your kitchen, beds and bathroom wherever you go. This makes visiting just about anywhere possible and easy, even with babies and toddlers in tow. 7). If your children are tricky to feed or have special diets, you can cater for their them with the greatest of ease in your campervan kitchen. Just make and eat what you usually eat from your kitchen with fridge/freezer, hob, sink and plenty of storage.
