#1 Great Alpine Road Driving Route

Taking the top spot is the Great Alpine Road Driving Route. Covering approximately 2000km this itinerary is a serious road trip. Taking in the winding roads of the Alps, a stop on the glamorous south coast of France in Nice plus a traditional French experience in Avignon and Macon.

#3 Tour de France 2020 Itinerary

Number three on our list is this 2020 Tour de France Itinerary. The Tour de France is one of the iconic sporting events of the year but it is also a great excuse to get our there exploring France, which you will see plenty of across the 1500Km route.

Starting on the east coast of France in harbour towns of Île d’Oléron and Île de Ré, stopping by the University city of Poitiers, the theme park of Futurescope and rich grounds of Château de Touffou.

#4 The Jura Region

Number four on our list is a family-summer-holiday essential itinerary of just 700Km. History’s greatest philosophers have continuously struggled with the age-old dilemma, what to do with the kids all summer?

This Jura itinerary is packed with lakes, rivers and swimming pools to keep the children entertained (and tired out) for days on end. France always provides immaculate facilities to accompany its attractions including bars, cafes, campsites and activities like kayaking. Number five on our list is one to really indulge yourself in. Taking the short drive over the border to Belgium on this richly ‘gastronomique’ itinerary of around 1000Km.

Explore the flower markets in Mons and cap it all off with a Chocolate Chaud Chantilly in the St Germain Tea Rooms.
