France is stunning in the autumn

26 Aug

It’s well documented that France (the world’s number one tourist destination) enjoys great summer weather which brings out the holiday makers for the popular summer months.  What fewer people realise is that the slightly (but often only just slightly) cooler autumn months have a great deal to offer too and can be great months in which to visit some of the more popular attractions and destinations as they are less busy.

Motorhome trips in the autumn can be particularly relaxing and rewarding since the roads are quieter, the campsites are emptier and yet most major attractions remain open.  Restaurants are rarely over-subscribed and everyone from winemakers to museum staff simply have more time to indulge you as you explore.

The golden autumn sunshine brings out a fantastic array of colours in the landscape making touring a wonderful adventure through ever changing scenery.

We are pretty much fully booked up until the end of September now but do still have some availability in October and November when our hire prices drop to the lowest seasonal rates of the year.

Take advantage of some really low hire prices and plan a relaxing trip for the months when La Belle France gets back to her tranquil and stunning best.
